I'm 32 years old and fell in love with a man for the first time. He belittled me, told me that everything that happens in my life was because I caused them. Such as a car accident I was in, and fired from my job because my supervisor was sexually harrassing me. Which there is a law suit pending over all of this. He told me that I caused this all. I have always owned up to any wrong doing I may have caused. Last night a light turned on, like a flashing red sign!! I realized that I gave this man power. Power to put me down, to make me feel I was worth nothing and that he was above me because he held a higher degree in education. I will never let a man or anyone rob me of what I deserve...Respect! Like the saying....Treat others how you would like to be treated. I'm a very humble person and I would never ever treat others differently due to having less or more than what I have. She is 5' 11" has a pretty face beautiful hourglass shape, healthy and smart. I tell her she is very lucky and blessed to have everything the most women would love to have. But she has low self esteem and that brings out trust issues and is the cause of us breaking up. I hope she can overcome her problems someday. I have tried to make her understand for almost 4 years.
